I didn't notice this until today. I swear it wasn't there before the latest update.

Weirdest thing, I've been hitting this button since the last update as well, I honestly don't remember it being there either! I turned off Tap to Wake and Lift to wake hoping I don't hit it as much. I may just switch to using the Owner profile actually.

I think it was there before, but it has gotten way bigger with the latest update! It now spans the entire width of the screen! Making it even easier to accidentally click. It's very close to forcing me back to "single user mode"

Hi, this is terrible. I am accidentally ending my session on a secondary profile multiple times in a day after the recent update.

Please remove the end session button from the lock screen or make it optional ASAP.

Both of the lockscreen corners can be made a bit safer by placing lockscreen shortcuts on them. The button gets at least a bit smaller that way..

Interestingly the shortcuts require long press (which is great, makes them a non issue for me) while the "end session" seems to require less than a light breeze...

Poncho yes, together with disabling 'lift to check phone' & 'tap to check phone', the pocket ending session issue is at least suppressed.

just to weigh in, the end session button now stretches the full width of the screen after the latest update. it used to be much smaller and cycle with the "charging" indicator text. for me, this is a visual annoyance, but i can see the UX problem.

I am enjoying the larger end session button. Especially since I hardly ever stay in one of my other profiles, so making it bigger is actually more convenient for me. But I get what others are saying. If I did use a profile as a daily driver, that would get annoying quick

Same Problem here: huge "Ende session" button is driving me crazy! Pls make it optional!

I also come in to request to make this button optional. Kindly add a toggle option, the button is huge and appears to be presses with the slightest press. Please add the toggle

other8026 FYI, there is but it comes with some Android annoying downsides.

Device-owner apps can do that, https://github.com/BinTianqi/OwnDroid is the one I use. Restrictions however are that Work Profiles are unavailable and Private Spaces are either unavailable or wiped after reboot.

Owndroid has an option from Owner to disable logout anywhere for all secondary users (except reboot obviously).

Please fix this problem. I would appreciate a toggle to turn off/on the appearance of the “End Session” button on the lock screen. It’s become a big issue since the last update; I’m constantly ending the session by accident

I am experiencing the opposite: I quite like having the End Session button on the lock screen, but mine has disappeared. Did they just push an update? I can't figure out how to turn it back on.

Instead of making this as a toggle they removed it globally. I am saddened by this.

remove poorly designed upstream end session button on the lockscreen (it remains available in the power menu)
