For people with similar issues, I was just navigating the internet; just reading articles on Incognito mode (Because of cookies). Settings of Vanadium was standard. I usually don't mess up with settings.

I found a mistake in my build script. I was building "lunch panther" instead of "lunch panther-user". So I got eng builds instead of user builds. I made a user-build and updated my pixel and now everything seems to work normally.

Hi ! I just got the same issue, both AnkiDroid and Vanadium are crashing after some time. Should I allow native code debugging to the vanadium Webview? Or does allowing it represent a security issue?

Oh actually I can't enable it, it says that it can't be enabled for preinstalled apps, I'm running the latest GrapheneOS version on my Pixel 6a

I've also received this same notification recently. Vanadium Web View wants to use native debugging. I've been using Graphene for a couple years and have never seen this.

I received this notification as well. It occurred just after I installed CapCut (a ByteDance app). I had forbidden the app from having network access. Additionally, I have the NetGuard app filtering traffic by acting as an artificial VPN. I do not use Vanadium at all.

Could CapCut/ByteDance (or some other app) be attempting to circumvent the blocks I have on app internet access? The timing could be coincidental I suppose.

Just sending in random apps doesnt help.

A lot of apps use this to generate crash logs you can send per mail or copy. This is unrelated to the Vanadium bug.

Are people still having issues with this? I recieved the error when using home assistant app. It said vanadium web view was blocked from using native debugging. I can consistently make it occur. Is this something I should take to home assistant since they really shouldn't need that or is there a way that we can on a per site or at least in web view allow it?
