Considering a pixel; 6 - but have some questions!

Hello!

I really want a new phone, and I am leaning towards a pixel 6. I can get them used (very good condition) for about 350 euros, so I'd figure that is a good deal.

I do have a question about the fingerprint scanner. How fast is it? I have heard that it should be faster on Android 13, is it? And does it work with a screen protector?
Also, how is the video quality (in 60fps)? Does anyone have experiences with this?

jultaholtu having just picked up a Pixel 6a I was concerned with the reports of unlocking with an unlisted finger and the length of time to unlock.

Both have proven to be unfounded concerns as it works absolutely fine and as you would expect.

A family member uses a stock Pixel 6 and it's the same story there.
For the other questions neither of us use a screen protector, (yeah I like living on the edge lol)

jultaholtu Fingerprint reader has worked fine for me even with a screen protector.
I'm not sure if this affects the fingerprint reader but I recommend going into Display settings and turning on "Increase touch sensitivity" if you're using a screen protector. It makes touch more responsive.

fingerprint work well with screen curved glass protector on my P6P though is not fast as Chinese rugged phone I've, you have to press for a while to make it working well,
is god that you shoot Graphene in your mobile instead of your body... 😁
edit: in Europe you may also get a new P6 for 480 € in case...
