Well, I need to port my physical SIM to an eSIM and my carrier requires that I submit IMEI and EID. Unfortunately I am unable to find the EID from Settings -> About Phone-> SIM Status
Is there any way to get this value.
If it is possible I am open to using adb to get details if that's the only way, although I am quite puzzled that the EID value isn't shown.
Or maybe I am missing something.
Thanks for the help.

Ah, that wasn't the issue. It seems the EID item is only shown in the menu when there is an error in configuring the SIM. Atleast that is my understanding of it. Here is the reddit thread thread that solved my problem.

for those of you trying to figure out the EID #, do this:

Settings-Network & internet-Mobile Network-Advanced-Carrier-Add Carrier-Don't Have Sim Card-Next then try with either Google Fi or scan this QR Code (it's for t-mobile). It'll say "checking for service" then go to this screen that says "Setup not complete" with the EID # listed at the bottom. After you do that, then the EID is listed in Settings-System-About phone-Sim Status.

That seems quite odd! But good to know.

      6 months later

I can view the EIN in Settings / About / EID (SIM slot #).

Can sb confirm eSIM activation with EID works in GOS?
