Flash install TS, 'Error: t.hasOwn is not a function'

I have the same problem- when I try "flash release", after very briefly displaying "unpacking bootloader", it comes up with "Error: t.hasOwn is not a function"

I'm using Ubuntu 20.04LTS with Brave, all shields removed, to install onto a Pixel 6a. I don't have the usb cable that came with it, but I have one from an older smart phone and another an MP3 player. I have plugged these directly into the motherboard, not the hub at the front.

Reading other people's issues, it seems like the cable is a common problem, so if there are no other ideas that will be my next step.

Any ideas are appreciated.

Is your Brave up to date? That error sounds like it could possibly be a browser issue.

This error is a direct result of an out-of-date browser. It means that the browser is on a very old version before it included support for that function which the web installer uses.

Installing GrapheneOS aside, please make sure to keep your software up to date; it's critical for security.
