Yoneech I'm trying to reinstall Google Play Services, but it's not appearing in the "Apps" app. I've tried restarting my phone, refreshing "Apps", and still the only things listed are: Apps Auditor Camera PDF Viewer Anyone got any suggestions?
Phead Yoneech Just to make sure - have you checked the three little dots in the upper right corne of the Apps app? There's an option "All packages".
Yoneech Phead Yes, after clicking the three dots and selecting "All Packages," only the aforementioned four apps are listed.
Yoneech 233328 Pixel 4a (Non-5g). Clearing the storage did not do anything, unfortunately. spring-onion Build number is TP1A.221105.002.2022111000. Is that what you were looking for?
spring-onion You are missing vanadium too. What version of the os are you running? Have you altered permissions of default apps in any way?
spring-onion Your system is very outdated. Head into settings and check for updates, if you can't find any sideload the latest release.
Yoneech spring-onion That worked! I was so conditioned from being an iPhone user that updating was going to severely degrade the performance of my device, that I quickly disabled automatic updates after installing GrapheneOS. Kind of forgot I had it disabled haha. Thank you!
spring-onion Glad to hear. You can safely leave them enabled, they won't slow down your device and are critical in keeping your device secure. And you profit from newly released features too. By the way, consider upgrading to a newer device soon, the 4a is on extended support already.
