Hello, any help here would be greatly appreciated:
I'm running Graphene on a Pixel 6a for a couple of months now. Last night the battery drained to 0% and the phone turned off. When I charged it to turn on it was updating, then seems to have failed (not sure at which step). Now the phone is bricked at the RED eio screen and fails to boot when I try to continue. I've tried several times, and each time it passes the 'Google' logo onto the 'GrapheneOS' logo, then the screen goes black then back to the RED eio screen.
I still have a lot of data I'd like to back up before doing a potential reset, which is my question: how can I securely transfer data from my phone (photos, videos, and contacts) from my phone in this state?
I've looked at a couple of posts where folks have the same issue:
And it looks like the recommended method to resolve the issue without losing data is to try sideloading the latest update. I've downloaded the latest bluejay update for Pixel 6a, bluejay-ota_update-2023111500.zip, and started the process by booting into Recovery mode by holding down poser and volume down during booting. However, I cannot continue sideloading since there is no Apply update from ADB option as mentioned in the sideloading instructions, only Try again and Factory data reset. Above it, it reads:
GrapheneOS Recovery
google/bluejay/bluejay
14/UP1A.231105.003/2023111500
user/release-keys
Use volume up/down and power.

I've already posted this in the matrix chat but have no replies so far. I'd really appreciate any help in recovering my data here, thanks!
