Bimmercode Stuck on Launch Screen with v2022091400

Bimmercode and its infamous non-standard way of running used to work on an older version of GOS. The latest stable version as of today 2022091400 appears to have broken it again.

I've given it storage scopes and enabled exploit protection compatibility mode. Unfortunately, the app still hangs on launch.

Any tips or tricks to also try are much appreciated. Fortunately, I have an older phone I can use to run this app as it isn't critical to my day to day.

Curiously, it's sister app Bimmerlink works without issue.

Drbeast Have you tried the age old version of turn it off then on again but uninstall then reinstall again? Granting the storage scopes and exploit protection compat before first launch?

Yup, that was the first thing I tried (just like the schwab app in my other). Unfortunately, it hangs at the launch screen with the same problem.

Apologies, this is fixed with the new GOS version that came out on the 14th.

hardened_malloc: disable self-init to fix exploit protection compatibility mode which regressed in the previous release

MetropleX Yup exactly that. Normally I like to wait, but I saw that which hinted to me that that may have been causing the issue.
