Phone acting weird after switching profiles

I got Pixel 6a (Android 14) updated to the latest version of Graphene OS. I got 2 profiles on it. The main Private one and second Google one. When switching from Private to Google and then back, the main Private profile navigation is unresponsive. The phone seems working fine but the navigation is very slow and unresponsive. I got all the apps updated to the latest version. Do you know what could be causing this?

graphod are you using a third party launcher or the default gos launcher?

I am having the same issue with the dafault gos launcher.
The solution I found is to "end session" and open the profile again.

This issue is related to third party launchers.
Gesture navigation does not work at all with third party launchers in secondary profiles.
It started after A14 update.

However this issue of gesture unresponsiveness with default gos launcher started after last or second last update.

Yes, it started after the update couple weeks ago. I'm not sure what do you mean by "launchers"? I just installed graphene OS and apps thru Aurora.

This issue occurs to me after going to Manage users > tapping on the user > Install available apps > selecting an app, then switch to the secondary profile and back to Owner.

I found a temporary fix when using default launcher. When you experience the issue on any profile after switching, do the following:

Settings -> Apps -> Launcher -> Force stop

This will restart the launcher, and I've found the past few times I've had the issue it fixes it.

Seeing the same thing on my 8 pro, as soon as i swap back to the owners profile or ending the other user profile session the entire OS is basically unresponsive.

I'm also still experiencing the lag. It happens after I stay on the second profile for a while. How long it takes I haven't figured out. I've experimented by going to the second profile just to use an app and then switching back to the owner and it doesn't happen. It seems that it takes being on a second profile for pretty good length of time and using apps for the problem to occur.

I replaced the default launcher with nova, after 24 hours I have some preliminary results - that the overal cpu load is smaller. Also idle (screen off) cpu load is less too which has some positive effects on battery.
