Certain apps like Signal and Whatsapp used to have Exploit Protection Compatibility Mode 'ExPCM' switch in the owner profile, however i noticed recently that this setting had disappeared (not sure if this was the case with Aurora store and Droidify, but they too don't have it). i tried reinstalling Signal to the main profile, the ExPCM setting was still missing. also reinstalling Signal to a secondary profile through the Install Available apps option in the OS failed to bring back the setting. However when i reinstalled Signal to a secondary profile directly from Aurora store ExPCM setting reappeared (didn't try it with other apps)
Could someone relate to me why some apps have the ExPCM option some don't . and how is it that reinstalling the same app from a store brings back the setting to a secondary profile but not to the owner profile?
NOTE: most other apps still have the ExPCM setting
