Hi, I tried asking my question on reddit but only got redirected here, so I'll try again here :
I am trying to set up a banking app on a separate profile with google services installed. However, it uses SMS verification, so like the bank sends me a SMS with a code I then have to enter into the app to log in. If I tab out of the banking app to go to the message app, read the code, then come back, the banking app resets and I have to do the whole process again which implies sending a new SMS with a different code, so that doesn't work.
I just need to be able to read the SMS without leaving the banking app, like by pulling up the notification menu, selecting the SMS notification and scrolling it down to reveal the content, but it won't let me do it. Basically it just shows as a notification saying I have a new message and I can't scroll it open. I tried to go into the notifications settings and enable both "notifications on lock screen" and "sensible notifications" on both the proprietary profile and the separate google profile, but that only seems to work on the proprietary one.
Alternatively if there's a way to prevent the banking app from completely resetting every time I tab out it would work as well. I don't know if that's just part of GOS's security features.
Could anyone help me ? Thank you so much in advance and sorry if this is a noob question or is poorly formulated.
