walsr Occasionally I observe high battery usage of 60% in 10h (even over night, when the phone is not used). The Mobile Network seems to be the main culprit (96%, see screenshot). Upton reboot the issue is gone (see 2nd screenshot) and I can use the phone for about 2 days without recharging. I observed the same issue on A13 where the activation / deactivation of the Airplane mode was enough to solve the problem. Unfortunately, I can't reproduce the issue on purpose but it happens about once a week. I would very much appreciate some hints how to solve or debug this issue. MoonshineMidnight walsr When at home I use WiFi calling with airplane mode so LTE is not on. Get much better battery life on just WiFi than on LTE when out and about. Also depends on where you live. You could be in an area where there is a lot of shifting between cell towers which will cause more drain.
walsr de0u Thanks for the suggestion. I have changed the Preferred network type to 4G only for testing and will report back later.
walsr MoonshineMidnight and @NightSky I have 3 cell towers (covering 3G, 4G and 5G) within a distance of about 200m. The two screenshots I have shared (one with high battery consumption of the mobile network and one with normal consumption) were taken while the smart phone remained at the exact same location. Therefore cell tower switching / searching most likely isn't responsible for the increased battery consumption.
NightSky I recommend switching your preferred network to "LTE only". I hated my P6, nothing but hardware issues since new. Also, if you're in a rural area, battery drain will be more noticeable as it's always switching / searching for towers.
