Folks, we shouldn't assume this has anything to do with the scramble PIN layout feature. I enabled that just once for like 30 seconds long before the A14 upgrade, never used it again, and still have this issue. Also, if you reboot the phone the problem goes away on its own (for a while, then it comes back). This was already noted in this very thread, so again, nothing to do with the scramble PIN layout feature.
What makes it reproducible for me (i.e. it happens every single time):
- Turn on the phone.
- Switch to a secondary profile.
- Use the secondary profile for a long period of time (on the order of hours but maybe less, I haven't timed it).
- Switch back to the owner's profile.
Then the very first thing you notice is the lock screen's closing lagging after you enter the owner's profile PIN and hit enter. The second thing you notice is apps' closing lagging.
