Edited Online Photos?

Ever since last updating, whenever I take a screenshot and crop it in the little popup, instead of saving to my screenshots folder it now saves into a new folder it created called "Edited Online Photos" and an original, uncropped duplicate saves in my regular screenshots folder instead. Is there any way to fix this?

Still saves same as before to the Screenshots folder for me on my Pixel 6 with Android 14 (using the editor in Simple Gallery).

What app are you using to crop the screenshot?

Yeah, just tested cropping a screenshot with the AOSP Gallery app and got same result as you – the original in Screenshots and the cropped version in a new EditedOnlinePhotos folder.

I believe there have been changes in how Android handles storage access for apps, so (guessing here) it could be it's due to that.

So a short term solution could be to use another app for editing photos.
