Two questions about the sandboxed Google Play services:
(1)
I can see the three Google Play apps are to be installed via a Mirror. I am living in Japan and need to have Google Play Japan, I believe.
Is this likely to be an issue with the Mirror installations, and if so, is there any remedy?
(2)
I need Google Play because I need to use a messaging app called LINE, and the Aurora store says it "requires GSF" (also, forum member @Hymix had trouble getting LINE to work in Japan, suggesting the GSF is actually needed). However, I do not just need the app to work. I want to take advantage of an MVNO offer called LINE Giga Free, which gives you free data when routed through LINE. I'm not very tech savvy, but the disclaimer says that technical issues like OS updates can interrupt detection of your LINE account and stop free data, so I can imagine that GSF is integral to this.
Question: is it possible/probable that using OS geolocation services instead of Google Play geolocation could get the LINE app to work while messing up the "Giga Free" data plan?
