Do you need to keep GmsCompat updated in additon to GmsCompatConfig?

I want to use the GOS with current version. But I don't want any OTA updates.
So is it okay to Only Update gmscompat , config , GMs services?

Only updating GMSCompat will work as latest version of GOS's GMSCompat..
Or I should not update the GMScompat if I am using OLD GOS without OTA...

I know it is required to update OTA, but I case..🙁

It's not mandatory, but it is strongly recommended to to install the OTA updates.

If you nevertheless want to disable updates, it's possible by going to Settings ➔ Apps, enabling Show system via the menu, selecting System Updater and disabling the app. If you do this, you'll need to remember to enable it again to start receiving updates.

It will likely work for a while but there is no guarantee or even strong expectation it will work over time - nobody will be testing that setup, and lower-level code will be changing behavior.

Can you say why you are considering this approach?

de0u this is Not For GOS, I am using other ROM with Gmscompat support, one maintainer built it for me, which is Unofficial ofcourse,
He just built this ROM , and saying he will not give OTA to this
Thats why i am asking

AverageUser Not updating GmsCompat is not OK. Only updating GMSCompatConfig and GMS apps might work for some time, but eventually it would stop working properly.

The question here has been answered. GmsCompat needs maintenance as well, which requires OS updates. Whatever third party OS you're using with this functionality will eventually stop working if the compatibility layer is not maintained.
