kirkd what browser are you using? Had the same issue using brave, switched to edge and had no issues. Certain browser security settings (brave shields for example) may cause an issue.

Temporarily loosen settings or try a different browser.

Web install for pixel 7 pro on windows is not an issue.

Edit: also ensure proper drivers are installed, reference the "connecting the device" section.

I've tried Chrome, Brave and Edge on all computers.

I followed and completed the steps for connecting the device as well and I can open a windows explorer windows for the pixel 7 pro.

I'm using the cable that came with the phone plugged into the USB-C port on the back of the computer.

The message is no compatible devices found.

I've installed GOS on windows 10 and 11 - that's not your problem, something else is amiss, maybe missing ADB drivers?

I installed GrapheneOS on my Pixel 7 Pro using Windows 11 and Edge and did not have any issues. Do you have your USB settings disabled in Windows, your browser and Pixel?

Don't forget that on Windows, you need to install a driver for fastboot if you don't already have it. No driver is needed on other operating systems. You can obtain the driver from Windows Update which will detect it as an optional update when the device is booted into the bootloader interface and connected to the computer. Open Windows Update, run a check for updates and then open the "View optional updates" interface. Install the driver for the Android bootloader interface as an optional update.

I did install the Google driver and ran Windows Update and installed the bootloader.

I didn't think to check the phone, it's my first time using an android device so was not aware of a USB settings option.

USB Control is set to this device and Use USB For was no data transfer.

I was able to update to data transfer but I'm not able to change the Control to connected device.

Maybe this is the issue?

On my WIndows 10 computer in device manager the Pixel 7 Pro is listed when USB Control is This Device.

If I change the setting to Connected Device it disappears from device manager, so seems like I need to leave it as This Device.

This should be simple to do but something is blocking access to the phone.

Not sure what the issue is at this point, I can access the phone in windows explorer. My Mac laptop at work is not supported so I do not have another OS option to try.

Checking to see if anyone else has a idea for a solution, I've tried this on four computers now and this does not work.

I'm not sure what the issue is but I can confirm and guarantee that the steps outlined in the installation guide on the GrapheneOS website are correct. I've never had any issues with them.

I imagine that the android drivers are not installed correctly on your pc. I suggest you Google installing adb on your pc. Once installed, you should be able to to check the status of the drivers very easily. Eg, in a Command window type Adb devices.

Sorry, Windows pc are often tricksy with drivers. You will need need to research everything thoroughly and pay attention to the the installation details.

If you are referring to this step I did complete that:

Open Windows Update, run a check for updates and then open the "View optional updates" interface. Install the driver for the Android bootloader interface as an optional update.

This is what shows as installed in Control Panel>Programs:

An alternative approach to obtaining the Windows fastboot driver is to obtain the latest driver for Pixels from Google and then manually install it with the Windows Device Manager.

if installed properly you should see (at least that's what shows up on my Win 11): "LeMobile Android Device" in device manager and then under it, when in bootloader: Android bootloader interface; or when booted up: Android Composite ADB devices

I just posted those drivers do not install. My phone shows in device manager as Pixel 7 Pro, when I go to update drivers and select these downloaded drivers I get this error:
