File Transfer not working correctly.

I'm having a problem unlocking the Boot Loader. This is the situation:

I've connected 2 phones using GrapheneOS (fully up-to-date) and have put in the Boot Loader mode. The phone that I plan to use the Web Installer with sees the other device and I have to option to tap on USB, however when I do that and I tap on This device, the options below (including File Transfer) appear, but for 2 seconds. After that they are greyed out. I have tried this using 3 different phone, all with the same issue. Are there sertant permission that I need to grand before I am able to dot his, or is this currently a bug?

My goals is to unlock the Boot Loader with the Web Installer. The issue with that is that in the po-up that I get after clicking Unlock is that the device that Im connected to cannot be found.

android-privacy Before I can assist you, please could you tell what exactly you're trying to do here?

Unlocking the bootloader should only be done if you're planning to flash a different OS.

For what reason are you wanting to unlock the bootloader?

Also be warned that unlocking the bootloader will wipe all user data from your device.

Thank you Treequel for the reply. I'm trying to reproduce the situation where the bootloader needs to be locked. This is in order to help a customer. After unlocking the booloader, I will lock it right away. My intention is not to install a different OS, but document the proces.

The problem is solved. It apperantly had to do with a cable that wasn't working correctly. I assume it worked because the phone did detect it, but apperanly that was not enough.
