German translation in native Camera App

Hello, me and multiple relatives have GrapheneOS installed now. I use my phone in English, so that doesn't affect me. Most of my relatives including me make a picture and if we want to edit a photo we take the following path: Camera App → Homescreen → gallery → picture. But i have one special relative who is complaining that not everything is in german and how can someone release something like that bla bla. She is also the kind of person who interrupts system updates and then calls me when the stuff i recommend isn't working. She takes the picture and wants to edit it directly within the camera app, she taps on the picture in the right bottom corner. There is no way i can convince her to do it the other way. Will installing the google camera resolve the translation issue?

If you install Google camera for her, be sure to also install Google photos, otherwise this won't work anymore.

GrapheneOS changes and apps are not translated to any language, that's why she sees that. For that to be done, there'd have to be dedicated translation teams etc. not only doing a good job on the initial translation, but also quickly updating translations as needed.

Basically, if it's done, it'll be done right.

I assume Google Camera has a german language version, so that should work for them.

Same, I have installed GrapheneOS for relatives and works so good they don’t even know they are running it, but from time to time they ask what are those notifications about apps and updater, as well as settings. It’s a bit annoying, I’m willing to contribute. One issue I see though is malicious or unintentionally misleading translations.
