"sensitive notifications" on, default to "show ... ... only when unlocked"

I have a few notifications that would be useful to have from the lock screen. I.e security system and door entry notifications. To me, it's not a security or privacy threat to have "garage door open" versus "garage door closed" since there is no information about the location of that door.

With the system wide setting (sensitive notifications) that prevents any type of sensitive content, I can only see the name of the app. When I turn that setting on, allowing sensitive content to be showed, all apps default to show the sensitive content. It is very tedious too go through the majority of the apps that I would prefer to not show their content.

Is there any way to either set a more restrictive default, or allow a default setting to be toggled alongside the system wide setting?

What I have done is:

Settings > Notifications > Notifications on Lock Screen > Show conversations, default, and silent;
Settings > Privacy > Notifications on Lock Screen > Show sensitive information content only when unlocked.

This way, all notifications will be shown on the Lock Screen (only the name of the app). When you unlock, you will be provided with the entire info.

In latest build (android 14) there isn't anymore the untoggler for "show sensitive content when locked".

What's there now is notifications on lock screen :

show all notification content
don't show notification at all

How to setup what @ivicaivica has done (show sensitive notifs on the lockscreen without the content) ? Or a more granular way as @patienttruth99 wants?

graphenediscoverer4 That's incorrect. The toggle for showing sensitive notification content is still there and nothing was removed. It has never been a per-app toggle but rather an overall toggle for the profile. It's up to the app to set which notifications have sensitive data and they can provide configuration for the user to change it.

Are the only options proposed.
Settings > Notifications > privacy feature list doesn't contain anymore the toggler "show sensitive content when locked", while it was still present in some build prior to june 2023 (YT title "GrapheneOS: Full Setup Guide, maximise Privacy, Security & Battery after Installation" : watch?v=dPXu-XKxBT4&t=09m57s )

Whereas, firing up an old stock android7 device : settings > sound and notifications > notifications > lockscreen, I get this choice :

hide all notifs
display them all
hide only sensitive notifications

Maybe it was some LG UI addition, i don't know
