Latest build android-14 based : settings > display > lockscreen > privacy

The only options are :

  • show all notifications content
  • don't show notification at all

There isn't "show sensitive content only when unlocked" as in previous builds.

is it because user didn't input any credentials (pin/fingerprint/pw) yet, or a bug ? If it's bc of the no creds yet, it would be safer to still add that option in the code, for when user will ever add some credentials.

But I don't know if it's even part of AOSP or gOS actually. It would have been wonderful if settings added by gOS devs were colored in another color, for us to not complain about every single shit here in my opinion (creating another thread for this last sentence)

It is not a bug, but probably due to the fact that you have not set up a Screen lock under Settings>Security yet. If you haven't set up Screen lock, you will only see the two options you mentioned.

"Show sensitive content only when unlocked" only shows up after Screen lock has been set up.
