Another interesting service to keep an eye on is https://crypton.sh/, they are European, give you access to real phone numbers (so shortcodes and Account registrations for Signal etc. are possible), allow crypto and work all over a simple web interface. They promise to not recycle numbers and are Tor available. Currently the offer is only UK Numbers, but they are currently testing "SIM cards from other, mostly european countries", so it's promising... Not Open Source, but that's hard to come by with these services anyway...
