  • Does GrapheneOS user profiles allow setting Network Settings independently?

I'm currently running a phone with stock Android, but I've rooted it in order to be able to add multiple user profiles. One of the problems that I'm having is that if the main user profile is connected to a Wi-Fi network, then the secondary user profiles are also connected to Wi-Fi.

If I switch to a secondary user and disconnect from the WiFi, it also disconnects the main user from the Wi-Fi. If I switch back to the main user profile and re-connect to WiFi, it also re-connects the secondary users.

Would Graphene OS allow me to disconnect WiFi for the secondary users, while still keeping it connected for the main profile? If you know how to do it in stock Android, please let me know; that'd be helpful as well.

Also, does Graphene OS restrict the the number of user profiles? Samsung doesn't allow any at all, OnePlus only allows 5, including Guest User, et cetera.

Thank you for any advice.

No, but that doesn't really make sense. The network connection status is device-wide and secondary profiles still run while you're in another profile unless you end the session beforehand, so you wouldn't be restricting them from using the network even if such an option existed.

Also, does Graphene OS restrict the the number of user profiles?

GrapheneOS supports up to 16 user profiles.

GrapheneOS supports up to 16 user profiles.

Also be mindful however that you can only run 3 concurrent profiles at once.
