Seems like a lot of users with the stock Pixel Experience are noticing worse battery drain with 13, often attributed to the Samsung Health app or Adaptive Battery. I'm curious what GOS users have noticed so far.
Any increased battery drain on Android 13?
eatinggrumble84 battery life is fine and is equivalent to what I got with 12.1/12L on my Pixel 4a.
I may be wrong but on my P6P seems a bit more...
The first 2-3 days, I don't think I noticed much difference. Maybe slightly better and slightly cooler. But now the past two days have been awful with battery drain and getting fairly warm while seemingly idle in my pocket. Anyone noticing similar?
My screen time has gone up. I was getting 6/7 hours. Getting 8/9 now.

Is there anything similar to Device Health Services on GOS? I don't see it listed in my apps, yet I've been experiencing serious battery drain and intermittent heating issues.

P6P here and i have increased battery drain

P6P user. Coming from stock, the battery drain was atrocious. I migrated to grapheneos because of stock's bad battery life.
It's much much improved on grapheneOS' Android 13 implementation. I can now get through a day with a single charge.
I don't have a GOS android 12 to 13 comparison so I can't comment there. Sorry.

at first I noticed increased battery drain after updating to android 13 on P6P. I was looking around in the app settings and i think the update reverted some application setting to the default. I went to
Settings>apps>(insert app name)>battery
and selected restricted on all apps, except for a few things like signal or my mail application that i want notifications for. I also disabled background data for every app except signal and a few others. After doing that my battery life has increased tremendously, there is very little battery drain. I'm happy that theres minimal activity in the background, which is one of the reasons I wanted to switch to GrapheneOs. To be able to dictate what app has what permission individually is an awesome feature. I hope this helps!
I have tested the battery life on my Pixel 6 with BetterBatteryStats/BBS. On Android 12 the average was -1,6 % per hour. The test ran over 3 weeks. On Android 13 the hourly rate has increased to -2 % with comparable screen time. That's a pretty substantial amount in my opinion and very noticeable in my day-to-day phone use.
These tests were all done on GrapheneOS.
I'm not sure if there was any sort of change with the latest update, or if it was just restricting battery for a select 3-4 apps, but my battery life appears much improved today.
I've just turned on Battery Saver Mode full time to try and get my P7 back to 2 day usage.
Last night only lost 4% after rebooting and fully changing.
Also have not noticed any performance issues in daily use.
