Hi all, any suggestions welcome:
Had a car accident yesterday in which I was rear ended and flipped. I'm miraculously fine, but it resulted in my laptop being destroyed (it shot through a window and continued the journey solo for 200m, grinding into the road as it went) and my GOS Pixel 4a screen being smashed between my leg and the steering wheel.
I thought I'd synced my backups home but it turns out many months worth were on that laptop. Biggest concern is getting copies of my Keypass and Aegis vaults, which also only existed on the laptop. I'll be replicating my backups quite a few times when this is sorted.
The phone is functional except the screen, which only shows some flickers around the edges and changes slightly when touched, but I have no way of knowing whether that is response to touch or just pressure messing with the damaged OLED. It is currently still switched on but locked and will not unlock with fingerprint (if I had any left!).
Bootloader is locked, OEM unlocking & USB debug are disabled, new USB peripherals only allowed when unlocked so I can't get it to use an external display or mouse.
Pin pad scrambles, so no chance of unlocking even if touch is still working.
I can try to get a replacement screen. Will this work and be accepted/calibrated without unlocking?
If I boot to bootloader, will I be able to run adb commands and are there any that will allow me to input my pin or get an external display or input to work? Lots of guides for the scenario on stackexchange but none dealing with GOS!
Am I missing another way to unlock?
Thanks!
