Mobilepay (Danish) not working.

Thanks. I managed to get it to work, after a troublesome flash, but it's working now.
Now my only real issue is MitID, but I can see a lot of people are having issues with that as well.

Also, I problably need to register a new 2FA app, since Authy is not playing along, but that's a different problem - and an Authy problem, not Graphene :)

Hey all, seems like MobilePay stopped working completely on Graphene, it fails with "Security check failed. MobilePay can't be used on a "rooted" device.". What's weird is that it's not even contacting the Play Integrity API anymore, which it used to in the previous versions. Also, I've had issues as of a week before where the login would fail with an error "somethign went wrong, please try again", which was fixed by clearing the data and logging in again.

The app is on version 8.24.1, and it has Exploit protection compatibility on.

sergiuser After clearing data, and logging in with MitID it works again. Let's see for how long.

I see that Mobilepay and Vipps are developed by the same company (literally called "Vipps Mobilepay"), and Vipps started displaying exactly the same message for some users on GrapheneOS: https://discuss.grapheneos.org/d/23243-vipps-norwegian-banking-app

I have currently got Vipps working in Owner, installed from Play Store. When I tried to register Vipps in a secondary profile it eventually gave me the message you are citing. I'm curious if you are using Mobilepay in a secondary profile or in Owner?

I have it in the Owner profile, but not installed from Play Store. I'll try installing it from the Play Store and see if it changes anything.

Had the same issue with installation from Aurora Store but reinstall from Play Store fixed the issue for me. I recall some notification about Play Integrity- fail when the issue was still present. I use only Owner-profile.

Same here, reinstalling it from the Play Store in the Owner profile fixed it.

It might also work in a secondary profile, if you install the app from Play Store within the secondary profile and stay signed in to Play with a Google account during activation of the app (or perhaps longer?). At least that's what I observed right now with Vipps.

And did they clear the app data for it or reinstall it from Play Store and go through the activation again?

woe8r9 Had the same problem that it was not working. This fixed it for me: App info -> Force stop -> Storage & cache -> Clear storage (this will delete all data and reset it). Then i just logged in again from the start and now it works (lets see how long though…). Hope this helps.

Are you in a position to share whether or not you installed Mobilepay from Play Store, and whether or not you were signed in to Play Store at the time you activated the app?

Had the same problem that it was not working. This fixed it for me: App info -> Force stop -> Storage & cache -> Clear storage (this will delete all data and reset it). Then i just logged in again from the start and now it works (lets see how long though…). Hope this helps.

DeletedUser370 Mobilepay was working with no issue until about a month ago when I started getting the "something went wrong, please try again" error.
I didn't really attempt to fix it until today and I wrote the reply just after succesfully logging in and sending 1kr. So I don't know if it will last, but it's not complaining for now

I have had no issues with MobilePay here the last few months. I have it in Private Space with Play Services enabled (though Play Services has been granted no network) and installed from Aurora

Some days after clearing storage on the app ("resetting" the app) it started throwing errors again. I've gone through the resetting process again and Mobilepay is once again functional (for now)
