Hey,
So I've read through the usage guide regarding carrier functionality, and have done everything I can that is applicable to me, minus calling my carrier to de-register from RCS. Which I will do when I have time to be on hold for long enough without my kids buggin...

Before I do that I have a question about the RcsService app that comes with Graphene. Will disabling that help in trying to have MMS support on my phone? And after I disable it, how do you re-enable it? I'm ok trying to disable an installed app as I can just delete and re-install, but I'm iffy on trying it with a system app.

I'm using the stock messaging app btw. I would prefer to keep using it, but am open to others.
Right now I can send video via Signal to family, but occasionally I may need to send video to work or client contacts that have regular messaging apps.

Someguyuphere As a general rule, you should not disable any systems apps, nor should you disable any of their permissions. It is likely to break things.

Does the Message app in GrapheneOS support RCS? I didn't see anything related to that in the settings of the app. Of course, using Signal and other alternatives is far better than RCS, but RCS was recently activated here in Norway from all carriers.

Panda-na Nothing in the app settings, but if you search for rcs in the settings it will pop up.

Believe me, I would love to switch everyone I know to signal at the least....conversations or session would be my dream.

Here in Canada we've had rcs come in around 2016, so I imagine all of them have it now.
My provider allegedly has google messenger app installed stock with their phones for compatibility with rcs.
No chance i'm installing that app....
