Excited for either tbh, but a non-Pixel device would be quite the departure...

FaberCastell At present I suspect a refreshed Pixel tablet is more likely than some non-Google manufacturer with strongly secure tablet hardware opening it up to third-party operating systems.

But since neither one seems likely particularly soon, it's hard to say.

You folks are wishful. Googz soon won’t need to sell devices. They fucked the Pixel with wide bezels and could’ve gone more premium and actually competed. The bottom-feeding didn’t work out, hence Pixel 9 Pro & XL looking like iPhones. Derrrrrr. People are dumb as f. The end.

Can someone share a link to the tablet discussed on here please? For some I can not find any more recent tablet other than the one released couple years ago I believe. its 11 inches with tensor 2.

Which is not bad at all, specially witb providing access to Graphene os in a different way though there are some grey to me parts in it. Such as why there are phone and messages applications as well as rich bundle of related cellular services/applications. quiet confusing since there is no telephony functionality in the tablet itself, at least I have not heard of any , using it myself and like it a lot.

On the one that mentioned feels solid. Donno how the technological part is good, but the thing itself is wort the $300 i paid. Only thing I wish would've been available with it is a magnetically attached qwerty keyboard that serves as protective screen cover as well, similar to those that came bundled with Microsoft's Surface Pro 10 years ago.

If I were to make an educated guess, it would be that when Google makes their next tablet, it will either release alongside a keyboard accessory, or one will come soon after (and probably a pen too).

matchboxbananasynergy thanks, when i got mine around last new year, I didn't like any keyboards/covers, nothing near in quality and ergonomics to Surface Pro keyboards, so went for the hard shell case sold on g-store, paid ~$80 and all I can comment on it is new level of quality and feel, worth every dollar. Something like this with a keyboard would be excellent today. Yes, new tablet with such improved setup seems logical. I used a third party keyboard without problems on my Pixel tablet. Worked like a charm.

My tablet stays at home, so no cover needed, also no screen protector. Still looks new.
