Hi Everyone :)

Today I had an Update. It said "Reboot to finish"
Suddenly my Apps didn't work anymore so I thought a restart might fix it.
I might aswell do the update then. So I pressed on the notification and on "Reboot"

It is stuck on the animated "GrapheneOS" screen since about 4 hours now.
Is it possible it's still installing the updates? The phone did the last update about a week ago so it's not like it has 10 updates ready to go.

How long should I wait before forcing it to restart with the buttons?

Thanks!

4 hours is way too long. The update will have been installed to the second set of partitions (A/B) prior to you being notified to reboot. After rebooting, it should go past the startup screens fairly normally, and then you would see a screen showing progress optimizing your installed applications.

smoothy At this point, yes. It may need a factory reset and/or reinstall too.

csis01 I just did that because I did a forced restart from which point on all Apps were gone.... I deinstalled GrapheneOS and installed it again... I think I will wait overnight and try tomorow just to rule out any mistake from my side
