I find it amazing how you can get all those crazy benefits on security and privacy while compromising close to zero usability, while on pc, switching to linux (at least so far) feels like learning a whole new langueage. Makes you appreciate GOS even more.
Trying to switch to linux on pc made me appreciate GrapheneOS even more.

Yeah man. Right there with you.
FYI, if you wanna switch to linux but are finding it hard, try a combined method where you use both windows and linux in controlled ways. It will make the transition much easier. Cubes OS would be worth looking into if your RAM allows it.
Hard switching from windows to linux for intermediate/advanced users I find is a no go. Not only is it problematic technically/usability-wise, but also psychology. I found it it psychologically wore on me, as if I was addicted to windows and was experiencing withdrawal effects.
Use a combined system, with windows always available to fall back on.
When the boomer parents call for tech support I politely remind them. "I only had an android phone for 18months and XP was the last Microsoft OS I used."
