As the title suggests I'm having a problem with the starlink app with GOS. It doesn't give me any access to control starlink or the router setup. I would guess this would be a problem with it not being able to determine that its on the starlink wifi for some reason, but I cant be sure. It also doesnt allow me to login giving me an error saying "Sign in failed. Unable to establish a secure connection to Starlink. Please try again in a few minutes." It gives me this error instantly and doesnt even give me a promt to input any info.

i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling ofc, as well as giving it all permissions it has asked for. I have also messed with what i assume to be the GOS settings for the app, 'Exploit protection compatibility mode', 'DISABLE_HARDENED_MALLOC', and 'ENABLE_COMPAT_VA_39_BIT' have been tried in various combinations. I do have a vpn, but toggling it on and off doesn't work, and using it with my old phone with the same vpn (but no GOS) works just fine, which leads me to believe it is GOS.

Is there any settings i dont know about that could fix this, or is it just an issue that ill have to deal with?

Do you use Sandboxed Google Play? Do we know if this app requires that? Please give us more information about your overall setup.

In the meantime, hopefully others have experience with this app and can help out.

I have sandboxed google play, i even download starlink through google play to see if that made a difference. TBC i am fairly new to GOS, so i dont know everything. but as far as i can tell about sandboxed google play its working. I just reskimed the sandbox article and i dont think im missing anything.

As for if Starlink even needs it i have no idea.

a year later

I am having the exact same issue as the original poster. Starlink seems to "nuke" my ability to access any network, even my cellular network. I have to reboot the phone to get any network connection back. I am also using a VPN but have disabled it. I have tried all the same steps as the original poster as well. It's like the phone goes into panic mode as soon as it notices the Starlink app attempting to open. However my iPhone works great, even with the VPN running.
