I've had an excellent experience with DBrand grip cases as well. Ghosttek has a waterproof line of cases that are quite ruggered as well if that matters to you.

Hi, I don't really want to hijack this thread but explain to me why exactly 10a is better than 8a? For me apart from slightly bigger battery, brighter screen with newer glass technology (gorilla 7i instead of 3 i think) and one generation newer processor what is better? I know that 3 things almost make a new phone but when i tested both of them for example 8a's smaller size with rounded body is better, picture quality is so much better for 8a, heat distribution is marginally better also with 8a and for screen replacement I bought used og screen from demo models (which have defect - screen burn in, so this argument is not for everyone) for around 50 euro from ali. I am curious why 10a is recommended this much apart from longer device support by gos team.

cl0udy_gw I have bought a pair of used cases from spigen and for me they do a great job. To be honest i don't drop my phone too often but when I do these cases fully protect my phone. I have also bought a new case, the spigen tough armor (the one with a leg to stand your phone in landscape) and apart from making a phone slightly wider is a really great case; especially with the raised material for the screen, which really does protect it and at the same time there isn't much material to obstruct or make it uncomfortable to use the phone. I would recommend this version (tough armor) for Your heavy use.

Compared to the 8a, I noticed the following things in my day-to-day use with the 10a:

Longer battery life (the 10a lasts me two days)
More efficient battery management (especially on mobile network)
Faster charging even with the bigger battery (30W instead of 18W)
Better cell reception
Way better heat and thermal management!
Increased screen brightness
6.3 inch display with thinner bezels and lighter weight
it comes with a P-OLED display, which is supposed to be more durable
the overall ergonomics of the phone feel much better in my opinion

The 10a finally gave me what I was looking for in the 8a.

DeletedUser1190 Thanks for the reply, I understand most of arguments but my 8a with 500 cycles lasts me for a full day, I could manage to get a day and a half which I would say is still good; charging speed is for me not really a problem because i use 5w charger brick and let it charge up overnight. I must agree with screen especially the brightness (I would almost stay with 10a just for that brightness), better battery managment because of newer hardware but I didn't notice better call reception, better heat managment (my time with the 10a wasn't that long to be completly sure) and ergonomics are just a personal opinion. I now understand a bit better why it's recommended here, thanks a lot!
