I can no longer receive SMS or MMS in Owner or Secondary profiles since 10/2/2026 10:20PM US Pacific Time - Im on build # 2026092501 using Pixel 9 Pro XL. I receive a notification that I've received a text, I can see the text preview notification, but when I open the GOS Messaging app the text wont load - I tested Fossify Message app, and texts wont load there either. The only way I can see a text is if I go to my Notification History, buy I only see 6 lines of it. All permissions are enabled for GOS & Fossify Message apps and all was working fine prior to this update (I will note I could not send MMS after the 2026081301 update, but it was fixed in the subsequent update mid-September). So far, I can send SMS & MMS with no issue. I will send my logs to Graphene.

The update has fixed intolerable lagginess on my p8, thanks for the speedy update.

GrapheneOS and that bug affecting handling memory pressure was causing many apps to constantly being killed for me. That's a fact, and doesn't happen anymore in the latest release.

Got2CJC3 I just wanted to report I can now see SMS & MMS texts in Owner & Secondary profiles. Its wasn't relating to this update - it was a setting in the Messaging app in the Owner Profile > Contacts and Accounts permission. I had Contact Scopes enabled. Once I disabled Contact Scopes and allowed permission to Contacts and Accounts, the SMS & MMS texts loaded in the Messaging app for Owner & Secondary profiles.

It's not really an issue, rather an inconvenience, but since some weeks the Fullscreen mode has changed.

Before, when going into Fullscreen in Portrait Mode or Horizontal Mode while watching video, the full screen was used.

Now the upper part around the camera is a black bar, so a portion of screen is not used for video or picture playback.

Can this be changed somehow to the former behavior, as much as I know I didn't change any settings and I never used developer options or anything like that. I got a Pixel 9.

graph17issue Hello, I'm on Pixel 8a and am experiencing moderate lag on most activities in my secondary profile (haven't tried owner yet). I don't game. It takes about 5 seconds to open apps, bring up the keyboard, open the power menu, exit apps etc. It's still usable but I have pressed the wrong button several times (even restarting) because of the animation delays

Not sure if the phone is restarting on its own (happened about two times) or if I accidentally pressed the restart button after the power menu appeared after a delay. Not using a launcher

Update: Disabling and re-enabling secure app spawning and rebooting seems to have decreased the lag, though sometimes apps still take 5 to 10 seconds to open/exit, keyboard and power menu still laggy, and once my phone stopped vibrating when using gestures, opening the power menu, navigating apps and using biometric authentication. It's a lot more bearable now though. My current phone is currently going through a system update but I don't use the forum much so I thought I should at least mention whether this fix works. Once I've finished testing the new system update I'll return maybe in a week's time
