Is anyone else's Pixel 7 getting slow?

Yeah mine is the same. Battery has been bad for some time, but the performance degradation started a couple weeks ago. Notwits extremely slow and sluggish.

I also get a super warm phone when facetiming on messenger around the same time as the phone went sluggish

My Pixel 7 is the same - noticed slow degradation over weeks and today is particularly bad. I just installed the latest update yesterday and feels like every action takes 1-2 seconds to register. I wanted to wait for the new Motorola phones but might need to hop to another used Pixel soon.

I have to say my p8 has suddenly become laggy over the past week or so for no apparent reason. Most strange.

Hey all, figured I'd send the message in this thread in case anyone missed it. Turns out the slowness may have been the fault of Google themselves: #42511

The Graphene team pushed out an update which completely resolved the issue on my Pixel 7. Hope it does for you as well. As always, the team is amazing.

silent_noodle It definitely seems improved by quite a bit since the last update. At least I haven't noticed any egregious lag or slowdowns since then.

I think I can see a difference. Hopefully this was the cause of my issues. I actually turned my battery saver off thinking that was the issue (I always keep it on).

Side note, does anyone else experience issues getting notifications on this forum? I didn't see any for this thread. I came here from going into Discussions from my profile.
