Carrousel7956 It would be difficult for google to block it as it means they need to block people from using google maps without an account, and even if they do, they can do something similar to aurora store.
Also its kinda on their best interest that people will use it, its about control, ye they dont make money from it but they make us more needed of them, like github doesnt care to lose money from everyone downloading apk from obtanium as long as it means we got to use github. The same with chromium which is the base for brave and edge, their biggest compatriots and youtube and new pipe and everything, we leave google by still being at googles grip, its good for them, not everything is about money right now.
They might make it harder to use a few times so normies wont move to it (like they sometimes make newpipe unusable and freetube)
