There was a big news story which gets a bunch of new eyes on the GrapheneOS project. Creating a post that highlights important features related to the news can be helpful for many people that don't know what GrapheneOS is and are coming into contact with it for the first time.
Of course for those that are already familiar with it, this is not news. This post is not meant to be news to those already informed. If you already know these features exist, you are entirely free to ignore the post, as it wasn't addressed to you.
Every single company / project / community ever regurgitates features and 'basic information' endlessly. That's because humanity is not some sort of common collective conscience that only needs to be told information once.
Besides all that, there lies a separate issue which you completely missed in your strangely upset-sounding reaction:
That is that the current GrapheneOS website is very daunting for anyone just looking up information. People react much better to bite-sized, well layed-out information, sometimes with some explanatory graphics, rather than walls of text. Summing up some of the relevant information in this post by the GOS team and responding to people's queries on social media does some of the work, but making the documentation and website more approachable would help a lot as well. This was actually highlighted in a recent Q&A with a community moderator which I agree with fully.
