Im looking to switch to a Pixel 6 Pro (7 Pro in October), but the battery life is holding me back.
Im using a iPhone 13 Pro now, so im used to having 10-11h SOT now with 100%.

I get around 6-7hrs SOT when discharging from 100% with 100% brightness on my P6P. Of course your milage may vary as it depends on several factors like cellular usage, app usage etc. But to be fair, I don't see myself getting 10hrs SOT and Apple is doing extremely well in that regard. I'd expect the 7th gen pixels to be better then the 6th gen as Tensor has been their first shot on a SoC with Samsung.
My P6P is at 95% battery right now with 1h2m SOT and about 35 minutes of phone calls.
Not doing anything particularly demanding with it. Just a few emails. Anything that gets the CPU cranked up will draw the battery a lot faster.
abcZ That sounds superb. I envy you! I got my P6P on release date and I feel like I've may gotten a bit unlucky with the silicone lottery / Quality Control. I've read that phones produced in mid 2022 seem to deliver an overall better experience. May I have an insight when you've purchased your device/which manufacturing date it has?
JohnDoeDoe I ordered my first one on launch day. Accelerometer failed some time later and I had to warranty it a couple months ago. Can't tell any difference between them except that I have a working accelerometer again.
I also have all 5g bogusness disabled -- just HSPA and LTE networks.

Well, i deleted most of my social media accounts. So im currently only really browsing Reddit, a bit of YouTube, and Signal as an alternative for whatsapp. So 6-7h SOT must be enough for me right now.
Im curious what the Pixel 7 line-up will bring.
Using my pixel 4a, lots of podcasts and streaming music via Bluetooth, calls texts and some emails and very light internet browser use I normally finish my day with 60-70% or more of battery remaining.
For me it would be almost impossible to get less than 50% in a single day from 0700 to 2300hrs.
I only have a few apps installed. Always on VPN.
onyourbikes damn that sounds really good, what is your typical SOT in 24hours of use?
switchup today I've used my phone a lot for me. Been using podcasts with Bluetooth headphones or Spotify with a Bluetooth speaker for probably 4-5 hours total.
Plus a few phone calls. And lots of signal texts. 2hours and 45 minutes of screentime and it was nearly 11 hours ago I took my phone off charge.
I have 73% of battery left.
I don't know my screentime in a day. Not a lot I guess. I only use it for communication and podcasts/music. No videos or anything so my screen is only active when I'm typing messages or a tiny bit of web browsing.
I paid attention to battery life/screen time on my pixel 4a today. I had 1 hour and 55 minutes of screen use. 14 hours since I took it off charge. 79% of battery remaining. According to the phone I have 35 hours of battery remaining at my current usage rate.
