Offline- + online-in-one App translator

Hi,
I'm currently searching for an translator app (FOSS) that offers either online either offline translation. It would be great when it also would give like multiple words for one translated word. Translating from a picture would also nice to have.
So I'm using https://f-droid.org/packages/dev.davidv.translator right now, it has a clean UI and offers a lot of features I would like to have in the new app however it only gives on word every time for translation.
Any suggestions?
I know there are really specific niche requirements.

Developer-Dude This is just a wrapper for Google Translate, it didn't do anything offline until allowed connecting to it...

I write my texts by myself but sometimes I have to check if it makes sense, what I have written 😂 or I'm simply looking for specific words or phrases. My English unfortunately isn't as good as it should be.

Real time updates, manually or via Obtainium, while on F-Droid you have to wait until an update is published there, what could take weeks. Right now recent version on GitHub is 0.8.0, on F-Droid 0.7.2.

Do you remember which apps take weeks for an update?

Johnnyloans So I can confirm that some apps are taking like 1 week before they get an update on F-Droid. For the moment I write that I can't remember a specific one but I saw that as well. Not multiple weeks but like a week or so.
Is there a reason it needs that time to get released on?
Maybe it gets audited before?
P.S. I remembered myself there's a example - I am using Felicity and there was like this case.
However it's not such an issue/problem for me, I thought more like maybe the app has more features via GitHub.

The people at F-Droid check to see if the source code for the app matches the .apk install file on github, then they release the dev's signed apk on F-Droid. It is possible the apk on github to no match the source code on github -- something extra put in for example.

Perhaps it was due to a change found in version 22 that had to be fixed by the dev of Felicity and then F-Droid was able to confirm the source code of version 23 matches the dev's apk. Version 22 was never released on F-Droid due to this.

The releases for Felicity on F-Droid are 2-3 days after the github release.

Johnnyloans Do you remember which apps take weeks for an update?

Every app which has not an own repository on F-Droid. Had this for example with NewPipe or Öffi and many others, before I switched to the appropriate repositories, where possible. That's particularly annoying, when an app contains a bug and you have to wait for an update on F-Droid. A long time ago I didn't know about GitHub or custom repositories in F-Droid, from this time my experiences come and recently it was still no different.
The team of F-Droid is understaffed and overwhelmed, so it takes days or weeks to check new published versions. No problem for people who are willing to wait, but a problem, when an app contains a serious bug ...

I agreed with GIG GrapheneOS ist geil. Which loosely translates GrapheneOS is awesome.

The app has gone through a lot of updates recently, and especially now that we've transitioned into A17, older versions of various apps can be expected to have some limited functionality.

F-droid version: 0.7.2
Github version: 0.8.0
