No reconnection to my local Wi-Fi network

When Auto-connect is on (Settings > Network and internet > Internet > Network Preferences > Auto-Connect) and Turn off Wi-Fi automatically is on (Settings > Network and internet > Internet > Network Preferences > Turn Off Wi-Fi Automatically) my Pixel6 doesn't reconnect automatically to my Wi-Fi as expected.

Note that Location Wi-Fi is enabled (Location -> Location Services -> Location Wi-Fi Scanning).

Did I set something wrong?

houdini Your device will only auto-connect to your local WiFi network if WiFi on your phone is turned on.

If you turn off WiFi on your phone (automatically or otherwise), then your phone won't auto-connect to your local WiFi network until you manually turn WiFi on your phone back on.

WiFi scanning can be used by location services to help find your location. It won't connect you to your WiFi network.
