dryfter I tested the Huawei Health app and the Watch on other smartphones with regular Android and CalyxOS and had the same issue.
GrapheneOS is NOT the problem. It's my block list on my Adgaurad Home instance. As soon as I deactivated DoT in GrapheneOS, the bluetooth connections started to work again.

OK can someone explain this to me like I'm 5 please? 😆🤦🏻 Like how is it even possible that a blocklist for internet services is affecting Bluetooth?

dryfter The Huawei Health app presumably transmits telemetry data of the Bluetooth connection to the watch. As I’ve blocked this, the connection to the watch kept being interrupted. That’s the theory, anyway. As soon as I know exactly which domain is causing the problem, I’ll post it here.

Is anyone else having an issue with the phone not finding wireless networks after the update?

When I enable Airplane Mode and reboot the phone, Wi-Fi works normally. It finds all the nearby networks and connects to my home Wi-Fi without any problems.
However, as soon as I disable Airplane Mode, the phone immediately disconnects from Wi-Fi and refuses to reconnect. If I turn Wi-Fi off and back on, it just keeps searching for networks but doesn't find any.
I've already tried resetting the network settings, removing the SIM card, performing a factory reset, and even reinstalling GrapheneOS, but no luck.

xxx good to have an alternative, but what would be the downside of downloading it from Google directly? Is there any data being sent ? The GrapheneOS option is just a mirror of the Google one and contains the same CT log list, I believe (so the Google one could even be slightly more up to date) ?

There is no real downside. It is slightly more private [at least I think so].

Unsure if related to update, but this issue just recently surfaced. Selecting the option for vibrate only is missing from default sound options.

Steps -
Before:

Press volume up on phone for quick access.
Could choose between ring, silent and vibrate only.

Now:

Press volume up on phone.
Can only choose between ring and silent. Vibrate only icon/button is missing.
However, I can click filter icon from that menu to bring up sound panel, swipe ring volume all the way to 0, and then it puts it on vibrate only mode; indicated by the vibrate icon at top of phone. Vibrate only icon also appears in list of icons through the volume button path.
Turn volume up and vibrate only option disappears again.

Pixel 8 Pro.

Rando10 I cannot duplicate that issue, the vibrate only option is there for me. If you go into Settings >> Sound & vibration >> Vibration & haptics is Use vibration and haptics toggled on? If that is not on the vibrate only option will not show up when you press volume up.

Since this update my earbuds (Sony wf-1000xm5) don't connect anymore to my pixel 10pro. I tried re pairing them and they do pair bu do not connect

Had that enabled on a secondary profile, tried to toggle off/on again, did not work. However, I did toggle this on in owner profile where previously it was off and it seemed to transfer to secondary profile, so now it works.

Appreciate the reply and fix.

Drimagon I have the same behavior. However, looks like since Android 17 (?) its possible to turn a Hotspot on in a second profile under settings > network & internet.

I Agree. Its a weird experience having used GrapheneOS for about a year, the P6a passed 900 charging cycles recently and stepvise since early last autumn, the endurance have improved substantially.

After this release I have to turn Airplane mode of to make or receive a call over WiFi on my pixel9.

I checked my provider call settings and turned the WiFi call-option of and on again, but I still have to shutdown airplane mode for calls.

The strange thing is, in airplane mode I still can receive SMS's, but no calls.

Is this a bug or known new android functionality/setting.

With WiFi On and Airplane mode On, I get a error message saying "airplane mode must be turned off to call".

Now I tested many times, turning WiFi off/on and airplane mode on/off and sometimes I can call over WiFi with airplane mode On, but most of the times not.
I have mullvad running over different countries and servers so I checked de server in use, but even on the same server I get different results so it seems a local GOS issue.

When I did get the error for turning airplane mode off and switched to another GOS user to try and call from there, I get the message something like "All lines are in use, close some lines to call", but there was no call to close. After a few times WiFi On/Off and Airplane On/Off, I could call again over WiFi with Airplane mode on.

Strange coincidence of things.

Now I tested it also with mullvad turned off and the problem still exists.

Sometimes when clicking on the phone icon next to last call, the phone only reloads the last calls screen and it can take up to three screen reloads before the phone begins to make a call or shows the message "Airplane mode has to be turned Off to make a call" or "All lines are in use, close a line to make a call".

But when calling works, it works till I switch GOS userprofile and the problem begins again. So it seems to lay in the reconnecting WiFi after GOS user switch on my pixel9.
