Seedvault attempts to restore backup even though it's turned off

I have seedvault turned off (no backup set up), but in notification history I can see that it apparently ran a backup in the background.

DeletedUser815 do you have automatic restore turned off in the OS (not SeedVault) settings?

Hello!

Try this:

Don't search for backup in settings, manually go through the menu; otherwise, you can't see personal / private.
Go to the the profile you are having the seedvault backups in:
Settings > system > backup > personal
Turn on:

Backup my apps
Back up my files
Turn those off now.
Does it say: Backup Scheduling | Next backup: Never ?

Unlock private space.
Do the same for private space
Settings > system > backup > private
Turn on:

Backup my apps
Back up my files
Turn those off now.
Does it say: Backup Scheduling | Next backup: Never ?

Hi. I don't have personal or private in Settings>System>Backup, no matter how I get there search or manual. Anyway both Backup my apps and Backup my files are off. Backup scheduling is set to Backups will happen automatically when you plug in your USB drive. There is no 'never' option. What device are you referring too? Seems like my menu is very different, I'm on a p8 btw.

Where is this setting? I couldn't find it searching in settings for automatic or restore on my phone.
