Kernel panics with Pixel 9a Alpha release due to Wi-Fi driver bug

I keep getting kernel panicks after an update (build 2026050701). I've got logs from one crash but I'm not sure who to send it to or how to revert my phone to stop it crashing every boot.

What happens:

The phone boots up
I unlock it and can navigate apps
After a couple of minutes the screen goes black and I see brief green artifacts on the screen
The phone reboots and tells me the kernel crashed

You can post the logs here on the forum if you can retrieve them. Also be sure to report this on the OS Issue Tracker. You'll need a GitHub account to report it if you don't have one

This appears consistent with the recent Google WiFi driver bug for Pixel 8A and 9A. There is a potential fix in 2026050703 (9A is tegu). I believe that development is still looking for help in order to reproduce it themselves and verify a fix. Join in the fun or wait for a confirmed fix.

Iih... Bit of a kerfuffle this time around. Happy to stay on stable.

But I don't think I'm alone among the 9a owners in saying that I really appreciate all the hard work @GrapheneOS is doing! Keep it up. 👍

Just got a Kernel chrash 5/7/26. This is the 3rd one I have gotten, got first one ( 12/16/24 ) & 2nd one (1/11/25 ). Have had GOS on same phone since 4/13/23. Went first ( 20 ) Months without any issues/problems/crashes & just went (15 ) Months with no Crashes. I hope this doesn't happen again for another year or so or NEVER. Hate when the phone doesn't respond when I hold the power button down & it does Nothing, & I think the phone is Broken/Dead. Hate getting a Chrash.
