Wrong language in some apps

My systems standard language is german, but the surface of Revolut and Spotify uses the english language. In Revolut's preferences the language is shown as "english", when I click on that, I'll be directed to the Android systems language settings, which is correctly set to "standard (german)", back to Revolut, the language stays english, even when I switch directly to german language (and back to standard). Same in Spotify.
Sometimes after an update via Aurora the language in Revolut went back to german, but after the following update back to english again.
Surprisingly in Aurora the date of each upstate in the list is shown with "avr." for this month, but in german it should be "Apr." or "April".

So what might cause the problem, GrapheneOS, the apps themselves, missing firebase stuff or wrong app versions from Aurora?

Just recognised that app descriptions in Aurora are in french language, but everything is set to german. Cleared cache and data of Aurora and remade all settings, no the descriptions are in english language, even tough everything is set to german. Curious.

I'm so glad this issue with Aurora is being mentioned. My experience with it is that I set the app language to English, but numerous apps listed are detailed in Russian, which really makes me nervous considering the notoriety of Russian hacking and successful security breeches.
Though, part of me also thinks whatever's undermining Aurora is too similar to the unethical webmastering for which Aliexpress is known which includes their deliberate meddling with the languages shown even when a user is logged into an account that has the language set too something that's not being properly regarded.
I guess I'm suggesting it's an ethics issue.

Even so, perhaps it's a bug with aurora & the anonymous usage feature.
I believe aurora has many google accounts to choose from which could have the wrong language. The apps served to you are for that other language.

Usually apps support multiple languages. Is there a language setting inside of the individual app?

Is it fixed if you remove other system languages and only have German? A temporary test

Yes, I wrote about. This setting leads to the systems language settings, which should be overtaken by the corresponding app.

Oh, or change your language off of German then back. That could trigger the app to change correctly and update its settings.

Noted regarding anonymous access since that is a relevant factor with my usage, but still, the lack of investigative prevention and no proactive updates wreaks of apathy. If the language inconsistencies instead exhibited wingdings font, I imagine the issue would be promptly addressed.

Today in Aurora every app is allegedly "not available for this device". New registration and deleting cache didn't work this time.

The issue was caused by Aurora. A few days ago I saw that are all app descriptions there were back in German language, so I uninstalled all affected apps and reinstalled them, as there are Revolut, Spotify and DB Navigator (German train timetables)and voilà, all are in German language again now.
