There is no back button on the latest GrapheneOS on Pixel 5

Where is the back button??? THere is an arrow pointing up to the left of the URL bar. There is a number indicating how many tabs I have open. Next to that is the three dots and in the mene there is a forward button, a favorites star, a download arrow, an info icon, and a reload icon. I am so confused right now. Please help.

tnk479 Gesture navigation is used by default https://grapheneos.org/usage#gesture-navigation

Basically you swipe horizontally to the right from the left side of the screen to go back.

tnk479 have you come from iOS?

Go to SETTINGS>SYSTEM>GESTURES>SYSTEM NAVIGATION and pick a navigation solution that suits you. You can enable 2 and 3 button navigation instead of gestures which provide a back button. You can also watch the small animation to see how full gesture nav works.

evalda I've gotten much more comfortable with navigating Android. Thanks for your reply a couple of years ago. Now, I find using my work iPhone to be jarring.

MetropleX yes, I am coming from iOS. I did discover the horizontal swipe. I prefer obvious icon's. I will try your solution this evening. Thank you!
