You can be logged in to Google in your browser, but not in the app.
Also, if you're logged in to the Play Store app, you must have logged in to another Google app. Google stores its login information in the phone settings so every Google app can log in easily. So, if you logged in to one, you've effectively logged in to all of them. You can check if that's the case by looking for your Google login in Settings > Passwords & accounts (ignore the one under autofill).
