Long story short, pixel 6 was going bad. Backed up to ssd and restored to pixel7. All my texts are assigned to the wrong name. Eg: messages that say they are from my mom are past automated messages from my bank ([bank] will never ask you for your password). In phone/contacts they look correct. But in messages the messages are swapped with other contacts. I use signal with everyone i can but gotta text sometimes. Thank god I noticed before sending anything.
