Honestly, I'd back up everything, Place a copy onto 2 separate devices, and then flash GOS on it again--fresh install.

They were low frequency beeps, reminiscent of Morse Code.
You were texting on signal and your friend heard beeps? Or was it a phone call?
You heard the beeps too right? Then Play a youtube video or podcast where it's someone talking (not music). perhaps another female voice. (Similar to your phone call). Any beeps?
Do beeps happen every phone call? Only in signal calls, nowhere else? If not every call, listening to speech could take a while to thoroughly test. Up to you.
Sehnsucht both the Eddict Player and Pulsar media player apps will pause content randomly when sent to the background.
Music apps: Toggle allow background usage off then on. Set unrestricted. Kdeconnect will pause my music sometimes.
Sehnsucht Additionally, while using the app, there's this fading in/out scroll handle bar that will appear/disappear without any interaction with the phone screen.
Turn the phone off and clean the screen with a lightly-damp, soapy cloth. Check if there is any other debris/bumps on the screen. It may take scrubbing with your finger or a dry cloth to get something off.

Usually a crash is about 20 lines of text. Keep about 10 lines before the crash perhaps? Sanitize that. Keep the very beginning of the log file as well. First 5? Lines are the 6a codename, GOS version, app that crashed, etc.
Sehnsucht Battery life also went into a nosedive when all this started happening. From F-Droid store, I installed "AnotherMonitor", hoping to get a list of running processes like from a top/htop command in Linux.

Settings > battery > battery usage
View app usage and system usage. The % are not comparable between these 2 menus.
(E.g. 20% battery used in total. Network under system used 20% of everything the system used. System could have used 19% or 1%. We don't know. Network used 20% of whatever system used in terms of battery draining)

Sehnsucht Fingerprint unlock is inconsistent
Add a new fingerprint. Make sure your finger isn't too dry. (Don't do this with lotion on. Just a little oil from your skin will do). Press firmly. Get all sides of your finger.
Sehnsucht it immediately goes to the background like I swiped out of the app, and I'm greeted with my all my app launchers shown.
Could be related to the scroll bar showing up. Foreign debris or hardware failure trigger screen presses.

A hacker would silently monitor or demand money. They wont make your speaker beep. Hacks take an enormous amount of resources. Why spend the effort and money for this?
Doing something like:
Cat ~/Sehnsucht_secrets.txt won't make the speaker or screen act weird.
