Johnnyloans On my default phone app, every combination of: outbound or inbound call & i hang up or they hang up. I always hear a sound that the call ended.
Same here and that's expected. I initiate/receive a call and whether I or the other party hangup, I get the sound.
After various tests, the only time I don't get the sound is when I'm disconnected by the network itself, whether by poor reception or something happened. For example, I'm calling someone who's in a car on the highway and moving fast jumping from cell tower to cell tower, it can happen that we get disconnected. In this case, I get no sound.
The thing is, I'd like Android to react on that involuntary disconnection by emitting the sound instead of both of us talking to the void without being aware of it.
