Google Services Framework behaves unusual.

Hey there everyone,

In my second user profile i have Google Services Framework installed for push notifications. I gave it network permission but somehow after a restart of the phone or that profile it suddenly loses the permission. Also push notifications won't work properly in any case. Also in my secondary profile GSF took over 500mb of Space which also appears to be unsusual. Any advice on how to solve this or report it properly? Cheers! I am on a Pixel 6a running the latest Version of stable which is 2023020200 at the time of me posting this!

For notifications to work, you have to install Google Services Framework, Google Play Services, and Google Play Store. Just installing GSF isn't enough.

Also, if you installed these three apps after other apps, notifications won't work. You need to install the Google apps first.

Maybe. Mine takes up around 20 MB. Since your notifications are already broken maybe clear the app's data at Settings > Apps > All apps > Google Services Framework > Storage & cache > Clear storage.
