How to install via Obtainium:

I now use Obtainium (with this catalog: https://apps.obtainium.imranr.dev/). Just type “WhatsApp” in the search bar; the APK is fetched directly from WhatsApp’s official website and works fine on GrapheneOS.

you can't use same whatsapp account on two devices (in case you didn't know)

If a pixel is your only phone, try this on a weekend or something. You can switch to GOS and back to stock OS easily.
